As the sole advisor in my practice, I am dedicated to communicating with existing clients and connecting with potential prospects. My services encompass individual portfolio management, comprehensive financial planning, retirement planning, and managing advisory relationships. I specialize in individual portfolio management, utilizing a time-tested, rules-based philosophy that has consistently provided strong results for my clients. Additionally, I focus on comprehensive financial planning to help clients achieve specific financial goals. I believe these two areas complement each other perfectly; a solid financial plan requires effective portfolio management to be executed efficiently.

With over 13 years of experience in the financial services industry, I have obtained several designations, certifications, and awards, including a Bachelor of Science in Applied Arts & Sciences Business Administration (Financial Services) from San Diego State University in 2011, the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) designation in August 2019, and the Certified Financial Planner® (CFP) designation in December 2021. I have also been recognized as a Five Star Wealth Manager in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024, and I have been featured on Forbes Best-In-State Wealth Advisors (2024) and Forbes Top Next-Gen Wealth Advisors Best-In-State (2023, 2024).

What I love most about my work are the relationships that develop with each client. When I was younger, I believed that being the smartest and knowing the most would make me the best advisor. However, over the years, I've learned that being a good person first is what truly makes a great advisor. It's crucial to listen to clients, understand their needs and desires, and show empathy during their life struggles. Treating people as individuals builds trust and strong working relationships, which tend to grow and blossom over time with consistent communication. I believe that the greatest value I provide to my clients is my true independence. I pride myself on being uniquely different from the average advisor. I prefer not to outsource management, which reduces costs for clients and exemplifies my added value. By investing in individual securities rather than investment products, we eliminate the middleman, improve performance, and remove conflicts of interest that can arise with proprietary products. This approach creates a unique and overall better customer experience.

Originally from San Diego, I now reside in Brentwood, TN, with my wife, Samantha, and our four amazing boys: Sawyer, Eli, Weston, and Dallas. We also share our home with two Great Danes, Blue and Chip. Outside of work, I am a member of several organizations, including the CFA Nashville Society, the Twelve Thirty Club in Nashville, Compassion International, and Developing Workers.

Family is everything to me, and I love spending time with them. Free time is rare due to my career, other business endeavors, and extracurricular activities for our kids. However, when I do have free time, it's usually spent with my wife and/or kids, whether playing ball in the yard, enjoying board games, or having video game sessions. My wife and I love experiencing life together, attending concerts, and going to live sporting events with our boys. Occasionally, I get the chance to golf, which I enjoy as well.
